While we do not offer any official assistance in obtaining housing, we have had many out-of-town and international students take our course in the past and many have found suitable accommodation in low-cost hostels and hotels in Manhattan. The Gershwin Hotel, located very near the Edit Center, offers discounts to Edit Center students.

We also recommend searching on the internet for long-term hostels in the area (two useful sites to check: www.hostels.com/us.ny.ny.html and www.ny.com/hotels/budget.html). Many of our students have also found short-term sublets using Craig's List, http://newyork.craigslist.org.
