Kate Sanford
Kate is a feature film editor who also works on series television. She is currently editing PS, the second film from director Dylan Kidd (Roger Dodger). Her television credits include Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, The Wire, and Sex in the City. The movie O was Kate's second collaboration with filmmaker Tim Blake Nelson. Kate also edited Tim Nelson's first independent feature, Eye of God, which screened in competition at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival and was distributed by Castle Hill Films. Another longtime collaboration has been with director Michael Corrente, who directed Outside Providence, released by Miramax; the film version of David Mamet's American Buffalo, which starred Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Franz; and Federal Hill, a microbudget independent film that was distributed by Trimark in 1994.
