Soundtrack Pro 101: Introduction to Soundtrack Pro
Course Description
This two-day course introduces students to the primary
feature set and basic interface of Soundtrack Pro. Topics include
editing audio files, repairing field recordings, performing multi-track
arranging and mixing, synchronizing audio and video, analyzing
and fix common audio problems, and performing other creative sound
design techniques. This course focuses on practical, professional
techniques used to add professional music and sound effects to
video and multimedia projects.
Classes are taught by
Jonathan Perl, co-founder of Mac Audio Trainers, the only Apple-Authorized
Training program focusing exclusively on audio. Jonathan
is a professor at the Sonic Arts Center at City College where
he teaches Logic Pro, Soundtrack Pro, and other music production
classes.
All students receive
the Apple course book Soundtrack Pro: Professional Sound Design.
There is a maximum of eight students in each class, and each student
works at his or her own editing system.
The course cost is $850.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for those that want to learn the basics of audio content creation, editing and mixing.

- Basic knowledge of the Macintosh OS
